I work 12 hours weekly, my fiance is an ex-con and has been fighting hard to get a job, but no such luck. He is also attending drug court and has been clean for 7 months. We are getting evicted tomorrow and have no place to go. It is extremely cold out there, but most landlords don't care about anything, but their money. Luckily, a church helped with our electric, but cannot pay rent. We are struggling with even being able to keep food.

I am writing to see who out there can lend a helping hand.  My best friend has lost his job and all means of income.  He literally has $60 to his name.  Each day he goes into Manhattan looking for something to do to get quick money to pay his upcoming rent.  So many days and so far he has found NOTHING and each day it is a train fare from New Jersey to Manhattan and then a subway fare across Manhattan.  He will take anything at all.  He recently accepted to hand out flyers but he sold NOT ONE TICKET after 8 hrs of standing and yelling.  He has gone to every Starbucks and fast food joints, called all restaurants and hotels.  He hasn't left a stone unturned.  He will literally do anything legal and moral.  He has looked at labor jobs on Craigslist but nothing  has panned out...and for the most part there are many fraudulent posts.  He has tried focus groups but so far no one has accepted him....I am very afraid for him.  He literally has NOTHING LEFT in his pocket.  He has 3 dogs at home that he has had for years and I know he would not like to "turn them out on the street," but I can't imagine what is going to happen to the three of them.  He had his own business for awhile but he lost most of his customers and when things couldn't get worse the transmission on his car gave out.  He had no way of retrieving his stuff but a kind samaritan helped him one day and even gave him food a next.  I have given him money to help him out last month but that is all I can give.  He doesn't want much...if you can give...he will definitely take because he is truly desperate.  He would much better prefer a job......please, please help my friend....he has NO ONE AT ALL...all except me, and I now cannot do anymore for him.  Thanking all of you that considered helping him....and warm embraces for all of you that will.

I am a single mother of four. I was recently layed off at my job. I'm currently awaiting my unemployment benifits. I have bills stacked and I need immediate help if available. All of my bills for June are overdue. If there is anyone who can help with anything I would be eternally grateful. Please respond soon.

I am a 54 year old woman who just moved out from a verbally abusive husband. I moved quickly and do not have any money. I work a low income job and I don't know how I am going to make it without someone to help me get started. My 18 month old granddaughter lives with me. We struggle to have food and I worry about keeping this place to live. I have no transportation. I struggle to find a way to work.  I am desperate for someone to give me that little boost to get a start to that new life without abuse. I don't know how much longer I can deal with this life. I am at the end of my rope. Please someone help me.

I know that the Lord sent us to this page.  I typed "Lord I am desperate" and here I am.

We need 25,000 immediately to save our home and our business.  My husband is self employed and the job he has been working on has not worked out the way we thought it would.  He has not had a "real" paycheck in 8 weeks.  So, we are now in foreclosure and have to come up with a little over 11000.00 by September 28.  On top of this, we received a letter in the mail on August 15 from the company carrying our Workman's Comp policy.  We have not been able to pay her and now she is at the end of her rope.  We need to give her 5000.00 immediately.  I have asked her to give us until September 30-but it is early today-she won't get in to her office until 9.  And of course, pretty much nothing else has been paid either.

We lost a business a few years ago...so we don't have the credit to borrow from any one right now.  We would not be able to borrow anything that would show on our credit anyway because if we can get the bills caught up we are planning to try and file bankruptcy.

We would pay you back.  We could pay a little each month.  Definitely not much.

I just know that God led us here for a reason.
